Hello, I’m Bonita!

I’m 26 and have always had a passion for baking. I took the giant leap and introduced Baked by Bonita in 2018. Originally I baked in the family kitchen and as the cloud of icing sugar grew larger by the week, it was time to build a designated home bakery.

I am self-taught with thanks to online tutorials, social media inspiration from other bakers and lots of trial and error! I never set out to be a baker but sometimes life throws an opportunity your way and you just have to trust the process.

I have a background in teaching which seemed the perfect opportunity to combine both my passion for baking and teaching. So just like that we introduced Bake with Bonnie!
